Credit Transfer
CEPA Europe provides an excellent opportunity to earn credits towards your degree while living and studying abroad. Nonetheless, each college or university has its own policy when it comes to transferring credit, so before enrolling in this program, we recommend that you contact your academic advisor to find out how many credits will be converted by your home university.
Credits:
Credits are usually issued in European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) points, which can be easily transferred into other credit systems. A grade certificate will be issued for students who regularly attend their classes, which shows the number of credit hours, as well as grades according to the following scale:| A 10% | EXCELLENT | outstanding performance with only minor errors. |
| B 25% | VERY GOOD | above the average standard but with some errors. |
| C 30% | GOOD | generally sound work with a number of notable errors. |
| D 25% | SATISFACTORY | fair but with significant shortcomings. |
| E 10% | SUFFICIENT | performance meets the minimum criteria. |
| FX | FAIL | some more work required before the credit can be awarded. |
| F | FAIL | considerable further work is required. |
Please bear in mind that attendance counts towards credits! You may be downgraded or not receive a grade at all if you do not show up at lectures and just want to take the exam or test at the end.
